Pre-testing content and interfaces for media façades before the final implementation is challenging as the façade might be geographically separated from the design team or frequently occupied by others. Additionally early prototypes are already visible to a large audience which can lead to different expectation in respect to the final system. We therefore created a miniaturised version of a low resolution media façade housed in a steel-case. Designers architects and scientists can use this tool to pre-test both content and hardware in a timely and cost effective manner before going full scale.
